    BBH Bamboo Fitteds Question

    Hello Ladies,

I'm looking at starting my MCN stash and I like the look of BBH Bamboo Fitteds.

The care instructions online say: "Rinse soiled nappies and place in nappy bucket".

Does this means I have to fully rinse the nappy out in water or does it just mean to get the solid stuff off? Can you dry pail them?

Also, how do they compare to other nappies in terms of trimness?

    Many thanks!

    Ruth

Just rinse the poo off into the toilet and dry pail them. BBH bamboos are bulky, not trim at all. BBH Magicalls are trim.

    What Jodi said

Some people are quite happy with just using BBB's but personally I really only like them for night times. They are quite bulky under most clothes but that is the trade off for having a nappy that is as absorbant as they are. I found them to be way too big for my newborn till about 6 - 8 weeks.

eta I swear Mel posted that while I was typing rofl!

I never rinsed unless they were solid poops. If they were watery or sloppy I just chucked em in the bucket. Now his poo is more formed I just roll it into the toilet and throw it in the bucket

    Thanks for your help ladies!

Jodi - I'm planned on getting some Magicalls as well I'm planning on using OSFA fitted with covers for "at home" and then maybe some sized AIOs/AI2s for going out for trimness.

So what is a trimmer option in terms of a fitted (i.e. needs a cover) nappy? I *hope* someone says Swaddlebees organic velour fitteds - cause I've just ordered two on special!

(Oh no! Nappy regret...these decisions have been waking me up at night)

no! Have no regret....it becomes an obsession soon enough lol.

I've got 2 spunky butts fitteds that I love - wish I had more of them. They are really trim and fit great. I love tots bots too, but I only like the cotton ones (which don't hold a heap but it's OK when you are at home). The bamboozles are wierd.
Cute Tooshies are OSFA and they are lovely too, not so trim as spunky butts but not so bulky (or stiff as time goes on) as the BBH.

swaddlebees are trim as are itti bitti
    widdlewuns are relatively trim also

I found sized nappies worked much better for us than OSFA but thats just personal preference.
I love my BBBH fitteds but as others said they are quite bulky.

BBH were good here for a little while - but after that we just had a massive leg gape so sold them off.

but I love swaddlebees - did you get the OSFM or the sized fitteds? the sized ones are MUCH trimmer than the OSFM
