    bubba moe

Hi, i am due with my 2nd in october and didnt have a baby carrier last time, but this time around i know im going to need it so i can keep up with my son.

i want one i can use from birth and nothing fussy or hard to put on.

i am leaning towards the bubba moe one. anyone had any experience with these?

    thanks! mel

I got a bubba moe when DS was super clingy around 14 months - and I thought it was pretty good. It does pull on your shoulder after a while though, and newborns seem to get lost in it - Miss M hated it. She doesn't mind it now, but its not really a hands free carrier so I barely use it.

I have an ergo which is fab for both kids and have a close carrier for the new bub. Neither of these pull on your shoulders and they don't hurt my back (I have a bad back).

:yeahthat: I got a bubba moe for ease of use when my DD was only a couple of weeks old but I found that it hurt my shoulders and back and my DD didn't like it - she didn't seem comfortable in it. I used a hug-a-bub, which takes more time to put on but it is much more comfortable and DD would happily sleep in it. Then when DD was old enough I got an Ergo which is easy to put on and is comfortable to use.

Same here. Ds was an angel in it at the shops at 2 weeks old then decided he hated it.. I found he too got lost in the thing and found it quite bulky.. i love love love my hug a bub.. Its so comfy and ds just loves it.

    Hey Mel

I got a Bubba Moe when DS was 10 days old, I love it! You have to make sure that you hoist them right up though, if you let them hang it can get a bit uncomfortable.

DS slept 90% of all his sleeps in it, I still use it now, even though DS can walk. I use it to carry him side on and I can bend down and put stuff in the pram or trolley without feeling like he is going to fall out, IYKWIM?

    Cheers
