    Jaxson Harry (Boys Name)

Just wanted to read other people's opinion on the name Jaxson Harry.
I like the name Jaxson and my husband's Pop's name was Harry. So Harry is there to stay as a second name.

I am a teacher and the alternate spelling of Jaxson doesn't bother me at all.

    Alternate spellings:

My daughter's name is Jorja. The first time I saw it I knew I had to have it.

I really would love to name my son Jaxson. My husband is unsure about the spelling. But I think it is phonetically correct so why not. There is a boy at my school whose name is Kauri pronounced Cody. For a long time I pronounced his name Corey.

Please let me know how you feel.

I love the sound of the name, but prefer the spelling Jaxon. The S just seems superfluous. It's a lifetime of writing an extra letter that doesn't need to be there, kwim?

I have a cousin called Jaxon, spelt just like that. I too think the s is unnecessary

Im not a fan the name (a cousin i really dislike is called Jackson) but i do like the alternative spelling over jackson or jaxson

and i think jaxon and jorja sound really good together!! if that matters...

I'm with Marydean on this one - personally, I much prefer traditional spellings, but if you're going to go with the 'x' then get rid of the 's'. 'Jaxon' is still pronounced the same way as 'Jaxson' and it looks, I dunno, cleaner, kwim?

Yep, I'm with you, I prefer the alternate speeling for this one. kind of distinguishes it from a surname.

I think I'd have it without the S... but it's what you like really
