Question Very weird - has anyone else experienced?

I have been having some sleep issues with DS for a while now.
We co-sleep (quite happily and dont want to change yet) and he has been waking anywhere between 3-8 times per night - he has been sick on and off for the last month and thats when the mega wake up's have occured which is fair enough.

    Anyways....

He has bronchialitis at the moment and we had to go away this weekend for his Aunty's wedding - both nights we were away he only woke ONCE each night

Last night we get home and go to sleep in our own bed and he wakes 4 times.....

We co-slept when we were away so nothing changed there...

Does anyone have any idea why this might have happened? I got all excited thinking that maybe he was starting to settle more at night.

He goes down beautifully but just wakes a lot....

yep, we co sleep, the first time we stayed away from home (xmas night) DS did not wake once. he had been waking 2-3 hourly for feeds before that (at 2 months old)
Then a few weeks ago, Dp Was away o I stayed at my mothers for a night, ds did the same thing, slept for a good 10-11 hours!
why oh why, wont he do that at home! Even now he still wakes up 1-2 times a night for a feed or a cuddle.

I think it's our precious little one's way of saying...."ha,ha I'm not that bad am I!" when they are at someone else's place. We don't co-sleep but DS never slept through the night til 2yrs of age, unless we were visiting someone else, or had visitors here at our place...........very weird. I remember warning my Sis & BIL that he would prob wake a couple times & just to please keep it down if they got up early for some reason. Well he slept through that night til 9am the next day!!! we were all worried about him LOL.
