    How do you do yours???

Tax returns??? E- Tax, Tax pack, accountant....

I'm trying to work out whats going to be easier. This is the first tax return i will have done since DD's birth. I have only worked 6 months in the financial yr and recieved FTB and dont really have anything exciting to claim eg. depreciating things etc.

So my question is, if you are/were in a similar situation how would you do it???

I use an accountant because I have some investments.

If my tax was basic like yours sounds, I would probably just use e-Tax.

Etax, particularly with the 'pre-fillers' it is so easy and quick to use.

E-tax is really easy. I'm going to an accountant this year though.

I use E-tax. I think I should probably go to an accountant for DH's shearing, as there are claimable things I don't really know about, but I don't like paying them so much. Plus I never knew til last year that your accountant was refundable

Wonder if you can claim refunds from accountants years ago??

I use etax. I usually have a very easy tax return - no deductions or investments or anything like that.

    We use an accountant.

My dad used to do it, then there was a falling-out, and one of the major places advertised money-in-the-bank and we haven't looked back since. It's not that expensive either ...

I use e-tax, but next year will most likely have to use an accountant seeing I'll be getting shares through my granddads will

We use e-Tax. It give you tips on each step and the pre-fill makes it easier too. Have a go and if you don't like it you can always go to an accountant. Don't foget that you can call the tax office for help on points too.
