    Treasure Hunt ....Help needed asap!

    Hello everyone,

I am in some desperate need of idea's .....i am having my DS'S birthday party this coming Saturday and i am doing a treasure hunt but i am at a complete loss as to what to write on the clue cards, they are mainly 6/7 year olds so it cant be too easy but i dont want it to be too hard either.

If anyone could help me with wording of clues that would be wonderful, thanks in advance.

Maybe a treasure map would be easier. Some kids at that age may have trouble reading all the clues and could get upset. Just an idea.

If you want to do written clues, could you just have like:

    Behind something big (the shed)
    Inside something blue (shell pool)
    Next to......... ?

And a Happy birthday to your DS1 too!

I like the idea of a map too. Or as Alipralli suggested, keep the directions fairly obvious but also add in bits like Walk 10 steps from the back door and look in the pot plant for next clue. But make sure you measure out little kiddie steps not our grown up steps

Or even to find a person for their next clue? Like 'find the lady in the big sombrero hat for the next clue'.
