    does c'link help with study?

i am due back at work in feb but want to do some study instead. do you know if centerlink help with the costs of course fees or anything? or does it depend on what your partner earns etc?

Depends on course, depends on income.

If it's an approved course, and you're getting the parenting payment you might be able to get the Pensioner Education Supplement.

There's also an Education Entry Payment of $950 if you enrol in your course between 1 January 2009 and 30 June 2010.

my hubby has just enrolled in a pre apprenticeship course at tafe, centerlink wont pay any money towards fees etc.., but if u have been unemployed for a while and if u qualify, they send u to a job network, and they pay for your course, if you dont have the funds.
You do also get a payment of $208 foe enrolling in a course, and if u qualify you can also get the $950 payment to help with supplies.
    Good luck hun

Definitely make sure. The only thing is that if you are not qualified for a partnered parenting payment, you probably wouldn't qualify for a study payment. I don't think there is much difference in the income cut off for most payments.

But definitely call to be sure xoxo
