doing tax.. what the heck is SNI

we just tried to do our tax online and got very confused at the SNI bit. to start off with i dont know if i am my partners dependant becuase we got FTB (b). i dont remember putting anything in there last year but it is saying we can claim for work related expenses to work and to child care and also child care expenses and all sorts of stuff. very confused atm, have a head ache from concentrating so much. LOL

LOL, yep i get that much :-) its just confusing in regards to eligibility and what you can include etc. we are gonna call ATO tomorrow.
