How much boobie feeds does 1yr old have?

    Just wondering ahead....
how much does/did your bf baby have at 12mths? How much (ml) do they need?

i had ds1 on formula by 1 year, but looks like i might still be feeding DS2 for a while.
    He is on demand feeding.
Hoping i can wear some dresses in summertime, but i guess that will only happen if he is down to a feed in morning ?

DD no longer has day feeds but will feed at night. She feeds to sleep & feeds everytime she wakes until around 8am

At one, DS was having a morning and evening feed, he dropped the evening feed fairly quickly and was just having huge morning feeds only. He self-weaned a couple of weeks ago at 14 months as I guess my supply has really dropped with me being pregnant.

    Hi,

As at any age, brastfeeding works really well when baby sets the pace. They will let you know what they want. If a baby is feeding on demand - no need to worry, they will get everything they need. Good on you for feeding so long and so well.
I think this summer you will be able to wear some dresses - there are some nice ones with pluging necklines that you can just pop out a boo (over the top - I think that looks so cool) And, at this age you can explain that mummy can't feed now - they can wait a little.

Ashton is 11 months (almost) and he still feeds 3 hourly during the day and 2 hourly at night and I honestly don't see that changing anytime soon

My DS is one in a few weeks and has 3-4 feeds a day and up to 4 at night. Depends on the day though. Some days he goes with only 4 feeds some days it's 7-8.

My DS was still having 7-8 at 12 months
At this age though you can just delay while you're out and feed at home - they should be able to manage on other food & drinks in teh meantime. Actually, DS was generally happy from around 11 months to go without when we were out cause he was too busy doing other things.

My little miss only has one feed at bedtime now, so I'm back to wearing anything during the daytime, still wearing maternity bras though.
