They are just different brands. I have a Lovelinks bracelet and I love it.
The Lovelinks is slightly cheaper (not sure how much by) than Pandora although the beads are still approx. $40-50 on average.
They also have different clasps than the pandora ones, these are the hook ones, where pandora are weird spinny things (thats my technical talk ).
I wear mine 24/7, I take it off for showering but leave it on to do the dishes and it hasn't hurt it at all.
I was told when I bought it that other brands of beads will fit on it but I have not tried so I cannot confirm that.
I do not know anything about thw Amora ones, sorry.

I haven't seen the other brands in the flesh, I have a pandora but mum told me she saw another kind and didn't look as good a quality, I guess thats why the pandora charms are higher cost.
I have bought a charm off e-bay, they all can fit on each bracelet so you can mix and match but I have found you can tell the e-bay charm as it just doesn't seem as good as the authentic pandora charms.

I do not doubt that there are some dodgy ones out there, just thought I might add that the Lovelinks ones are quiet nice, mine has had a few knocks and even with glass beads has not chipped etc. so I think that it is pretty good quality.

All my girls have pandora bracelets, with pandora charms. ALthough i think one has a murano glass lovelinks one. Pandora were the first - from what i know. All the others followed.
Daintree Dream, your right, Pandora are put on the bracelet by spinning the link (i would have used the same tech talk as you BTW........). The others just slide on.

I know they are expensive...but for me....this instance....the more expensive the charm the better quality it is....

I have a lovelinks and love it!!! When DH bought it for me we looked at Pandora also and neither of us though they were as pretty as lovelinks.

I was told only lovelinks would fit on it.

    Check out this thread http://forums.bellybelly.com.au/foru...vs-others.html

Since writing that, I have bought a 9ct gold bracelet & charms from the independent jeweller here.

My brother (he's a jeweller) talked me out of the Pandora - only because I wanted gold & he thought the Pandora gold ones being 14ct would be too precious a metal & may not be strong enough to sustain breaking once full of charms & for wearing 24/7 which I wanted to do....

Just his opinion, I have no idea if that has happened, but it was enough for me to opt for the 9ct gold one

    my glass beads shattered

My lovelinks petite bracelet has fallen off my wrist several times, last straw was two weeks ago at the shops, so I went to my jeweller where i bought them from and ordered a 'safety' chain. A few days later I noticed the glass beads had shattered (all 4 of them), so when my safety chain arrived today, I brought it up. I said that the clasp keeps on opening and if i can get them replaced. They said the manager will look at it on tuesday.

I will be spewing if i cannot get replaced new ones.

they also tightened the clasp again.
