what could this be? Quite a bit of pain breathing

Hi everyone. I just want to know if anyones experienced what I currently am as I'm curious at to what it could be & don't really want to go to the Drs right now, getting both kids out of bed to be told it's nothing.

I've been having bad pain in my right arm up into my neck, back, right side of chest & it feels like it's inside if that makes sense.. like where my heart is on the left only on the right (not sure whats there... I'm really bad with the human body), only the right side, not the left. It hurts as I breath in & out.

Also today my right arm has gone dead on me alot, I've been feeling really weak & my eyes have started blurring.... now that I've listed it it looks a bit wierd.

Anyway, has anyone experienced this & what can I do to stop the pain because it's quite painful.

Hoping someone has had this & there's an easy way to stop it.

    TIA

Sounds like it is worth finding a way to get to a dr....I know blurry vision can be signs of some serious things (and some not).

ETA: ring ED at local hospital and tell them your symptoms and see what they say. xo

Is there a doctor on call in your area? Otherwise, is there a friend/BB'er who can watch your kids or keep you company at the hospital? At the very least, call nurse on call and see what they say.

It might be nothing, but I don't think I'd be mucking about too much with those symptoms. Make a call and see what nurse on call says at least. xo

I just called the house call Dr's my sister uses as the pain started going to my left side (not there anymore, it may have gone there because I scared myself into thinking it was there IYKWIM) she asked for my symptoms but cut me off after I said having problems breathing on my right side & put me on hold. She then came back & said she's not taking any more calls tonight

I'm sure it's nothing major I just want to stop the pain, I'll take some heron in minute. I just get a little worried if I didnt wake up in the morning what would happen because I'm here alone with the kids &dont have people coming over or calling often so it may go un-noticed for a while with the kids fending for themselves.... horrible thought but it's what I get scared about

I might try one more number....... (I'll go take some heron first!)

Have you called 1800 health or nurse on call whichever it is in your area? Google and give them a try they are pretty helpful I've found.

It sounds like you should get checked out. However, driving is prob not the best idea if you are concerned about passing out or impaired vision. Can you get someone to take you to the hospital? If not, call an ambulance. My mate is an ambo and they would much rather come to see you at home, than have to fix you and others if you have a car accidento on the way. Too many accidents caused by people having heart issues and driving themselves to hospital.

have you tried nurse on call?

    take care,

Hi, yes I'm ok. I took some heron blue & the pain eased so I went to bed & as long as I laid on my right side curled in a ball it wasn't too bad. I woke this morning with no pain so I'm hoping it's all behind me.
I don't have anyone who can watch my kids or take me to the hospital if I ever need to go which sucks but when I move back to Sydney I'll have plenty of people I can call on if need be. I'll be moving back sometime before school starts next year.

Thanks for all your support, I just got a bit worried being here alone with the kids, it's my worst nightmare thinking of something happening to me & the kids being here alone for who knows how long
