    FTB payment

I put in my tax a few weeks ago over the internet. DH received his payment last week. I received my notice of assesment today but it has nothing saying i get the $600 per child. And nothing has gone into my account even though i know i over estimated. Will i still be recieving it?

it can take up to two weeks from when you recieve you NOA for ATO to notify FAO of your assessment and for it to be processed

They don't put the $600 payment or any FTB info on your NOA. You will get a letter from the family assistance office telling you what your entitlement is, after the ATO has passed on the info from your's and DHs tax.

Bon - just want to clear up - FAO DO attempt to include all payments from the goverment on your NOA. same as, if you have a debt to FAO, they can take your tax return, or vice verse. it's all money from/for the commonwealth and they are entitled to do it.

there is a lot of info about it in the $600 per child payment thread

Thought i should update on this.

Finally after 8 or so weeks Centerlink rings me up and says it'll be in my account next Tuesday. I can't believe how long it took!

if you've had a phone call, there has been some sort of glitch on your file which means it's had to be manually processed.
