Black and Bling theme - need ideas please

Hi everyone,
I'm going to our school's Trivia Night in a few weeks, and the theme is Black and Bling.
There is a prize for the Best Dressed Table, and I'd really like for our group to get in the spirit of things and make a good effort. The problem is I can't seem to come up with any ideas I'm hoping you clever bb'ers have got some creative ideas to share. There will be 4 males and 4 females at the table.

Are you combinine Black and Bling? What about lbd's, tiaras and blingy silver/gold feather boas??? As for the men, can you do Men in Black (with suits and sunnies)??

Or do you want something off the wall, like black ants, or black cats or Blackbeard (pirates could be blingy too maybe)??

You could all dress up as a motown group...they seemed to wear lots of sequins in the early days

Dedicated_mumma's DP was dressed as a gangster at her dress-up 21st party & he looked fab (as for me i was dressed as a bikies chick looking more like a cheap hooker, just ask Skittlebub & Banx who were there too, LOL) ...

Am i going off the beaten track with guys dressed in Black (??) ... Is that the kind of idea your looking for ?

thanks smiles no, we can do whatever we like with the theme.
I guess the problem is we don't want to go to too much expense, so maybe some props or something. I'm hopeless

No worries ... i was thinking gangster as in black suit (especially pinstripes), with a white or cream scarf with long tassles (like a womans scarf) drapped at the front and a black rimmed hat with a wide white band around it and a cigar ... Might be a bit hard to find the hat in an OP shop but i reckon the scarf would be easy & if the guys own a dark suit
