I just have a general Q on charts.
Im still learning a little bit about these.
The past two i have temped on and on both i have had the classic "implant" dip at around the right time post ovulation.
Is this a normal occurance on all charts regardless of end result??
As i am still with out my BFP that i long for. And looking at them everything goes as it should.. then i get to 11 - 14DPO and have that all dreaded Temp Dip as AF announces her arrival.
Dips are commonly seen in non pregnant cycles as well.
With the two pregnancy cycles where I was temping and experienced dips the temp went down to just above the coverline & stayed there for 2 days in one cycle (resulted in full term pregnancy) and 3 days for the other cycle (resulted in miscarriage). I don't know if that is common, but that's how my dips were.
The other thing I noticed on those cycles was that the temp after the dip would just keep rising to levels higher than I'd normally get in a non pregnant cycle.
I had dips in several cycles over about 18mnths all BFNs.
The cycle I got a BFP on I wasn't temping so I couldn't tell you if I had a dip that cycle or not...a bit frustrated about not knowing myself! That month my computer decided to go bung and that's where I did all my charting so I kinda skipped it that month
Thanx for your response ladies.
I feel a little more normal.
Tanya.. i overrode it as it wasnt showing my O date on it (even after 4-5 days later), but i had a positive OPK. And it was my first month of temping and full charting. I generally know my time of O as i get the classic pains in the abdo. So the temp drop and the pos OPK confirmed it.
I have a FS appoint this comming week so i will hopefully get a few more answers about stuff and workings. hehehe.
