i could tell from where i felt the kicks, iykwim? i could feel more/strong kicks high-ish on my right side - which meant that he was head down with his back along my left side. altho, he did flip from side to side as well so he didn't always stay there!! he kept changing right up until the last week...i dunno how he managed to find the room

are you feeling kicks more to one side?

    Hi

Depending on what stage they're at weeks wise I understand that they move round quite a bit so can be very difficult to tell which way is up or down as it changes.

However, for me at least, I had felt that in the few weeks or so babies head was down in the left hand corner and its bum was in the top right and had U/S yesterday at 32 weeks which confirmed that my guess was right.

I had just felt that was its position based on where the movements were happening and the shape and size of the really firm bits - ie when it sticks it bum out and wiggles it . Do have some really wierd movements down really low however that I can't figure out for the life of me. Almost feels like the little one is trying to dig its way out ????????

One thing that was surprising from u/s was just how flexible they are. Sonographer was trying to get the 3D image for me yesterday and baby had both is hands, the cord and both its feet right in from of its face !!!!! Didn't want to play pretty pictures at all!
