    Dog Poo?

We have an 8 year old retriever x samoyd who other then being a bit overweight is in good health and up to date with immunistations etc. Her diet hasnt changed at all but her poo has - for the past month or so her poo has become really runny and grose. The quantity hasnt changed either, around 2 per day.

Should we be worried and take her to the vet? Or change her diet? (she currently lives on a combination of biscuits and/or those dog meat rolls with the occasional bone thrown in). I dont think I can deal with the poo if this is going to be a permanant thing.

I think probably take her to the vet. And maybe change her to some fresh meat. We changed our cat frrom biscuits and tinned food to the fresh Paws kangaroo pet mince about 6 months ago, and her poo has changed dramatically, as has her general condition. Worth a try anyway?

What kind of food are you feeding her? Sometimes if they're getting too much wet food it can effect the consistency of their poo.

I have a Border Collie who is fed a premium dry food only, and sometimes I have to put a bit of canned food in there because he has a little trouble going to the toilet. The problem is he gets used to the canned food and wants it all the time... and I like to spoil him... ;-)
