    Q about fringe benefits

Hoping someone can give me some info on non-reportable fringe benefits for my Dad.

He's retiring, and he gets non-reportable fringe benefits from his employer which he does not have to report to the ATO.

He will be working part time when he retires - does he need to report the fringe benefits to Centrelink? even though the ATO doesn't want to know about it?

if he's going on a part pension it's best to provide the info and be upfront. if it isnt an income that impacts him, all is good. if it is and he hasnt provided the info he gets a debt. if he provides it and someone doesnt code it right, he can appeal any debts - better to giove too much info than not enough - does that make sense? sorry have a wiggly bubba on my lap trying to get at computer!
