I recently got an everyday rewards card for Woolies/Safeway.
Is it like Flybuys where the points accumulate no matter how much you spend and then get a 4cp/l off fuel once you've spent $30 in however many transactions or do you get 4cp/l off everytime you spend $30 or more in one transaction?
I don't think that makes sense.
Eg.
Shopping 1 - i spent $10.00 - scanned card
Shopping 2 - i spent $10.00 - scanned card
Shopping 3 - i spent $10.00 - scanned card
= 4cp/l off fuel ???? or don't these count ????
or
Shopping 1 - spent $50.00 - scanned card
= 4cp/l???
Also, how do i know how many 4cp/l off's i've got on my card??
It accumulates. Thats why I prefer it to Coles vouchers because they don't accumulate and you need to spend $30 to apply. And yes they are now connected with frequent flyers which rocks
i checked with Woolies today whilst i was there. You need to spend $30 to get 4cp/l and it doesn't accumulate when you do small shops.
I asked then why should i scan at every shop (no matter how much i spend) and she said that Woolies sees who buys what items and can then do promotions etc...
