    tax and overestimated refund..

when you overestimate your income and are then entitled to extra money from centerlink do you get it at the same time as your tax refund from the ATO or will it come in two seperate deposits?

the reason i ask is i got some money from centerlink yesterday 'CCB in arrears minus a centerlink debt -which by the way i never knew i had a debt as we have always overestimated'

then this morning i have a new deposit of what my tax refund would be but i was expecting a bit more as we overestimated my DH income by 10 grand.... so not sure if thats all i am getting or if centerlink will deposit some more at a later stage. i dont have any upcomming payments showing in centerlink online either.

i just posted about the exact same thing!

i rang centrelink and was told tax and the supplements come seperately now.

the havent received my dp's details from ATO yet, so i have my return, but no supplements as yet.

FAO try to pay the payment together with your tax return. if it doesnt go in with tax return ATO return payment to FAO who will pay to your account

the debt would poss9ibly be for overpayment of CCR during the year. if you get more CCB, you're entitled to less CCR so it is deducted from the CCCB top up. would be no more than 50c in the dollar of your arrears (so if you got 100 top up, you'd have to pay back 50 or less)
