Question I have some of hot water pump questions...

Ok, so after getting our quarterly electricity bill yesterday ($300 BLERK!), and hearing a tip from squidipa about turning off the hot water system periuodically to save money, I'm just wanting to know more about it...

Our system is a Rheem Electric Heat Pump 551310 (which is considered to be really energy efficient). 310L.

We get charged for peak usage (weekdays 7am-9pm), however that tariff thing works lol. So if I turned the hot water system off at 7am and on before bed, would we have hot water for evening showers (around 5ish?). And we put our dishwasher on at 9pm, would there be enough water for that too?

Will this stuff our hot water pump?

And does anyone know where I can find out how much energy it uses? I looked on the actual pump but I can't find anything. Is there a website somewhere?

i would ring the company of the hot water system and ask them or look at your electricity bill as it may be on its own tarrif. Also try ringing your electricity company and ask them regarding costs i know they do this for aircons too
