I bought mine from a WAHM I saw on Facebook - Heartstring Things. I LOVE them, flannelette on one side and a fluffy fleecy minky type material on the other, great size. Great for everything, we use them as washers in the bath/shower, great for snotty noses, dirty hands and faces, as well as wipes. So beautiful!
They so sometimes have a textured poly cotton fleece (which some online stores call sherpa) or a micro terry which you can use one one side for more gripability
Yeah I was thinking of terry one side and cotton or flannel on the other. Like Skye said the terry is good for when they are grots and Rhys is definitely one of those. Thanks for the input girls.....how big do you suggest making them??
How many should I make to last me a day for 2 bubs?? My mum suggested 50 and thinking about it I thought that might be a good number with 2 bubs and one being a newborn!! What do you all think?
I say go at least one side terry. I've tried sooo many and I still go back to my trusty facewashers. They absorb so much, clean so well... others can push poop around and not clean it at all.
I just bought some cheap face washers from Big W and KMart. I have about 20 and that has been fine for the last 7.5 months! I just chuck them in the wash with the nappies. Occasionally when I run out I use the terry flat nappies instead.
I going today to have a look!! Its deadly going to the spotlight here cause Ikea is there too and you just can't help but go in there as well!! Lol. May my self control be with me today!!
ohhh i went to spotlight today ...(they had terry at mine too) but i bought minky and flannalet....i spent the arvo sewing while my grandma watched DS....
i made 18 wipes which look fantastic (cute and soft)
and a wetbag !
i used one of the wipes tonight and it wiped up the poop pretty well lol
i will make more if i decide they work well !!!
