I am currently on a 4WD trip around Australia, and we are travelling on corrugated roads in the outback, that result in the car shaking quite intensely at times. Its kind of like being on a vibration machine.
I was wondering if anyone knows how dangerous this is in the first (or any) trimester? I know that horseriding is dangerous, is this of the same nature?
Your help would be greatly appreciated as if it is not recommended, we will change our plans.
I don't have an answer for you sorry! But with my last pregnancy, before we knew I was UTD, my DP and I would go 4WDing every weekend and my BBs would ache so much from the bouncing around inside his truck along the dirt tracks OUCHY - safe travels =D
Congratulations hun. I am not sure if it's true about horse-riding, but TBH I don't think 4WDing will do any harm. The most important thing is to take care of yourself - rest as much as you need to, and eat a healthy, balanced diet. Do you know about the foods to avoid during pregnancy?
I wish you a H&H pregnancy, and enjoy the trip. It sounds fantastic!
