Would any 5 seater be able to have 3 car seats across the back? Im on a tight (as in non existent) budget and thanks to XP Im not in a position to go for a loan
TIA
We found in our research it was hard finding a car that suited having 3 car seats across the back seats, usually a falcon or commodore will do it, but I have trouble driving them because I'm short and can't see over the boot when I reverse - which can cause problems.
We ended up getting a people mover - so it was exxy so I can't help you out there. But the Kia's are pretty cheap
We have had 3 car seats in both Commodore and Territory. It was squeezy - it may be worth seeing if there are narrower car seats available? As if for a small car - regardless I'd take your car to trial the fit at a big baby store before you buy, JIC. I had a Mazda 121 and some issues with fit with my initial seat.
Good luck and congrats!
Im 170cm and have driven a commodore before can see and all that. So I think that may be the way to go. Can anyone else think of any sedans/ wagons that would do?
I'm currently driving a Toyota Yaris sedan (Toyota's smallest car atm) and can fit three car seats across the back. It is a tight fit, but it can be done
We had a falcon futura - 1997 model when DD#3 was born. We couldnt afford a new car at that time, so we battled on with the 3 x car seats across the back....like others have said, squeezy, but doeable.
i have a commodore wagon and i have 1 carseat safe and sound and one booster vario max and there isnt much room in the middle but on either side of both car seats there is room so maybe ya could fit another i know they make a car seat suited for small cars and so ya can have 3 in a row
I have a commodore at the moment and I have an SNS Platinum set up for this baby and a SNS Maxi Rider in the middle. There is still plenty of room on the other side for my 15yr old DS to sit and he isn't a small kid... So I would dare to say you could fit 3 car seats across there.
