Usually calculated as 20 000km per year.
Unless it has changed from when we bought my previous car about 6 or 7 years ago... I don't think we even looked too much at the km the latest car we bought in October had done.

I do 400km a week! But I do have to drive an hour to get anywhere![]()
We do anything between 25,000 and 28,000 in ours - we have to do at least 25,000 as per our lease agreement or otherwise we pay fringe benefits tax, but we are 42km out of town so if we want to go anywhere we have to drive - I even have to drive to the mailbox LOL, so we do the k's easy enough.
i used to giggle at the 1.6km it was to hubbies letter box before i married him now im like what the thats incredible... WOW i bet ya have a real nice tranquil place lol are u farmers? hubbie comes form a dairy back ground.
tinkerbell my oh my 400km a week firstly we couldn't afford the cost of petrol we do about 279 km every 1.5- 2 months i try not to use the car but when i do its very stop starting loads of intersections just to pop to the shop. Are u a farmer or soemthing?
15 000 - 20 000 is average. I do just a tad under 40 000 (860 odd a week) and DH is closer to 60 00! We salary sacrifice tho, and have a very economical diesel! And no, we don't drive in our jobs, that's just to/from work!![]()
