    Eucalyptus Oil For Mopping?

I saw a thread a while back that mentioned, I think, adding eucalyptus oil to the water when mopping.

Have just bought a new mop and am pretty hot to trot to start mopping (but not that hot that I actually did it today

Was it eucalyptus oil or something else?

I put Eucalyptus on my steam mop pad. I also used to put it in the water when I had a normal mop but also added a touch of detergent. I don't feel as though my house is clean unless it smells like Eycalyptus.

I mop with hot water, vinegar and a couple of drops of eucalyptus oil. I think the oil gives a nice smell to room. I think Rouge uses lavender when she mops.

Have just mopped with my new mop. it's got a built-in water dispenser in it like a steam mop but it's manual so no plugging in. Boy did I have fun squirty squirt squirting. Used the eucalyptus oil in the dispenser too. House smells absolutely divine.

Only slight downer is that I think the floors look a little dull ie. not shiny. We have wooden boards in the hallway and polished concrete in the living area - would that be the eucalyptus oil d'you think?
