How to get sticky stuff off??

How do you get the sticky stuff off from where labels were. I want to get it off a water bottle so I can make it into a rattle and give it to DD. I used to have Big Kev's Goo Remover but it has vanished. Probably not a good idea anyway if she's going to put it in her mouth!!

Any ideas?

Eucalyptus oil on a cloth will do the trick. Then give it a good wash

I was going to suggest Eucalyptus oil too. Sounds like a trip to the shops is in order!
