Our first list (of many no doubt!)

okay so it is early days but we have a few names on our list and would appreciate some opinions:

Summer Is this a fad name that will disappear?
Ava I know it's really common now but it's lovely.
Lara
Zoe
Lucy

I would like to use my Mums name - Wendy as a middle name, which doesn't go with Lucy I know!

Joseph
Eli
Sam
Levi

None of our boys names jump out at me really.

firstly congratulations and secondly its never to early to start naming your bubbaa.

you asked for opinions so here they are!

Summer- i absolutly love! you could also try different spelling eg. Summah, Sommer ect..mix it up
Ava-hmm not a fan as it is SOOOOO popular
Lara- i like i think its super cute.
Zoe- i LOVE... could try different spelling again eg. Zoey
Lucy- Is ok, kind of reminds me of a fluffy dog sorry

Joseph- not a fan! but certainly am a fan of Joey i think its super cute.
Eli- Absolutly love
Sam- I ADORE. except thats my DPs name so that is totally out of my lists, so many cutie pie nicknames for them
Levi- is ok.

its such a difficult task... my DP and myself the whole 8 1/2 mths have had our little mans name picked out (Oscar) but as i sit on here more and more i fall in love with different names so i send you the best of luck xo

I think the names you have picked for a girl are lovely, IMHO I only like Lara and Ava with wendy as the middle name but thats just me.

I like Eli out of your boys names but if nothing jumps out at you then I would search some baby name books and see what does.

SOmetimes names do really jump out at you and sometimes they don't. I cannot find anything that really stands out to me for this little one, the name that did originally doesn't anymore Dh loves a particular name so we are going with that.

Lara Wendy is really cool.

Wendy was our very first choice until we finally decided on "Palmer".

Summer is nice but Probably not with Wendy....windy summer etc...

Would Eli be short for Elijah? Sam is def a classic...a good name.

Sadly I think Summer will really date. I love Lara and Ava because they are classic names. I think Lara Wendy sounds nice together.

yep what the other girls have said about the girls names, Lara or Ava. Though Lara and Lewis is a bit hard to say together (not that you will often, but that concerns some people). Ava and Lewis flows nicely.

Of the boys names I really like Eli.

I like Lara, and Joseph (I'd put that on the birth cert, and then call him Joe lol) or Sam for a boy

I actually know an Old english Sheepdog called summer! SORRY!!! But I do think that Lara Wendy sounds fab! For the boys, I like Joseph (Joe & Joey) it's such a strong name...I'd use it myself if it wasn't one of DH"s best friends' names!

LOVE your boy's names. Would Lucy and Lewis be a bit of a mouthful? I do think Summer is a bit of a faddish name, like your other suggestions though.
