    stingy episiotomy site

just wondering if it is normal or unusal to have a stingy sensation in the episiotomy site 4 1/2 months after birth? DTD was ok first time but each subsequent time has been more and more painful and stingy. at times it is also stingy just after going to the loo (no. 1's) and other times it is just stingy for no particular reason and also when it is touched. should i see GP about it or is it normal?

It's been a long time since I had my episiotomy but I don't think it was still stinging 4 1/2 months after maybe get it checked just to be sure.

if its stinging after urinating id be getting it checked as it sounds like you have an open sore/cut/split or something

Mine stung when we would dtd as it was all streatching, but after that it didn't, it didn't however sting when urinitaing, sounds like that the wound may be open a bit. Sorry would have to say to go to the Dr's too.
    Take care

You might have thrush so it's a good idea to get it checked. Sometimes I don't always get a big breakout but it's enough to be irritated, especially after DTD.
