Video Monitor For Baby's Room - Anyone Have One?

DD is 2 so a bit late to get into the baby monitor game I know (we've never had one).

But I'm bloody curious as to what she does at night. Sometimes she is awake two hours after we put her down. Not upset. Just awake and talking to herself.

I think I've seen video monitors on the market - does anyone have one, are they any good and how much did you pay?

I haven't had any experience with them, but it has got me thinking. I wonder what she is doing? It would be good to be able to find out how she is amusing herself for 2 hours

Yep, and she still has really long day naps. Anywhere from 2.5 - 4 hours. But I don't think she's asleep the whole time. If she called for me or was crying, I'd go in straight away but she's always happy to be in there. It's a mystery what she does in there though I do always leave her a couple of books in her cot.

A friend of mine has a monitor display monitor (or whatever it's called). I think it looks great.
It'll be interesting to see what she's doing for that amount of time!

Hi! I bought one for my DS and it was the best thing i have ever bought! It was around $300 or $250 i think and i also used it for DD and it helped for reassurance! Although your DD may be able to get it and pull it down (if shes anything like my boy) because it has a red light on it you cant hide it! HTH

She went to bed at about 7.30pm last night. DP checked on her at 9.15pm, only to find her sitting up in bed reading her Pooh book and doing a bit of scribbling with crayons!

Yesterday morning when we went in to her, we found her asleep UNDER her bed with her fluffy blanky.
