I use cetahil face cleanser. It is so gentle and doesnt irritate the skin or cause blemishes.

For foundation I actualy love Covergirl true blend whipped foundation (its in a jar). It is solight and fluffy that it doesnt looked caked on when you put it on your skin but also gives good coverage. ITs cheap too. Only $15 a jar cheaper if its on special.

I do use a concealer. I think its a ceap BYS one ($4.95) I find it makes a difference.

However the thign that makes the biggest difference and I find that makes my skin flawless is when after foundaion I use Physicians formula mineral powder in translucent ($30). I get it at Priceline. You cant even tell you are wearing it and it covers my skin.

What sort of moisturiser and SPF are you using? I tend to spend less on things I wash down the drain (like cleanser and shampoo) and more on things that stay on my face (moisturiser and foundation).

    What's your budget?

    AWww thanks hun

I wear make up everyday and it lasts me probably 2mths. You dont need much of it as its all light and fluffy and spreads really easily.

Pure cover is a great mineral foundation! Google it! It's cheap and doesn't have nasty bismuth or talc. Looks great, lasts ages.
For facewash I use Sukin organics because it doesn't have any nasty stuff and doesn't dry your skin out.

I use the MooGoo oil cleansing method, there are all types from dry to oily to combo skin cleansers, great for removing make up at the end of the day.

Like AliBaby, I like something gentle too, I use QV in the morning.

I use a Prescriptives foundation that I bought from Mecca. I'm hesitant to go to a specific make up counter at Myer or DJ's but at Mecca they have lots of different types. Yes, it's high-end but worth it.

    Good luck!

I use the Body Shop Seaweed face wash and toner as I have sensitive, combination skin and pimples too. The toner makes a huge difference, but you definitely need to then moisturise before you use foundation.
I am using a Revlon mineral one atm and it has quite good coverage. It also looks quite natural. I am looking for a change too (don't want the nasties) and have seen the Nude by Nature ads. Could they be worth a go? Does anyone use them and could maybe let us know how much they are?
I wouldn't recommend the Almay mineral foundation as it made my skin itchy and the coverage wasn't as good as the Revlon foundation.

Cleansers - Judith White organics has a fantastic face wash.

Foundation - I have used every expensive foundation and every cheaper ones and found glominerals to be the best out of them all it has full coverage it doesn't make you breakout if you can't be bothered taking it off before bed it won't ruin your skin or pores AND you only need a pea sized amount!! Also photos that i have taken of me never have a white face or off colour always 100% spot on!

I use Clinique's "even better "foundation cause I have really bad pigmentation and it gives me a flawless, even look. Cost me $48 for a tube and it's the best foundation I have ever used.
I also use clinque Rinse off foaming cleanser when I have makeup to take off and Clinique liquid facial soap when I don't have make up on.... LOL, as you can tell, I love love love clinique products.
While I am on my soapbox about their stuff, for uneven skin tone try the even better serum, it's amazing, changed my pigmentation dramatically so I can now go without makeup and not look like I've had an accident with the tanning lotion.

I second Sequoia's comment! They can color match ANY tone to perfection..(I've got quite fair skin and most times even the fairest colors won't match me.

However I have also found Estee Lauder Maximum Coverage is made to be a concealer but works beautifully as a foundation...real porcelain finish with just a TINY amount..i'm talking pinhead size dotted around will do (all around my eyes). around $50-ish.

as for cleansers, I'm taking notes here....but have found tea tree face mask (the body shop) great if I feel breakouts coming...

RR if your ever after a foundation just for the daytime something lightweight & makes your skin glow i use RIMMEL RECOVER illuminating Anti-Fatigue Foundation (i get the shade SAND and it's a more Summer kissed look like i prefer) ... Cost is about $18 (?)

I purchased one this Sunday at Priceline and they had an OFFER where you get with this foundation for **FREE** a Rimmel Renew & Lift Brightening Powder with minerals in the same shades as their foundations (it's RRP is $17.95) in the compact it has a mirror & application sponge which you can't see until you open it up

(I have sensitive skin and i've NEVER had a reaction !!)

... Also i use a Facial Scrub (in a blue tube) from ALDI for about $6, i use it about every 3 or 4 days when in the shower & my skin always feels super polished after

Believe me i have spend many years buying up on big brands ... even worked for a couple of well known companies without mentioning names (found stories behind some of the ingredients which are not always great & false advertising) ... Whether the products are expensive or low budget i use what works best for me at the time. RR as the years go by and your skin changes with age your skin will ' tell you ' when it needs a change of product

Laura Mercier- Foundation - It's very concentrated, you won't need to use a concealer.

I've found face washes much of a muchness, buy anything 100% natural or organic, SLS free. Lavera is a good brand.

CLINIQUE - i LOVE clinique , their 3 step system lasts aaaages and is sooo worth it , my skin doenst even need make up , just some gloss and mascara and im done

also i only use clinique and BENEFIT make up products , benefit have mineral make up and its awesome so flawless and doenst make my skin oiler than it alredy is , as i found cheaper makeup make my skin dry (esp the mouse/whipped type ones ) or the chemicals in them made my eyes hurt . its better to go with mineral , but the cheaper mineral make ups still would have some chemicals as fillers ...
