Just wondering if anyone else out there has had this and what the poss cause could be- maybe a posterior baby, things starting to happen??? I'm heading out for acupuncture today because I can hardly walk.
It's like a stabbing, twinge in my left lower back and has been coming and going over the last week or so but seems to have set in since last night. I did the warm bath and then heat pack thing last night. I've also been having period- like cramping coming and going over the last few days. I'm not worried (should I be???), just interested. Bubs has been head down for the last 6 weeks or so.
Any advice would be great as my next OB appt isn't until next week...
You know, it could be nothing, but I would be getting checked out. I had a very similar situation, minus the period pain/cramping. But I had lots of lower back pain, my DS was posterior, and my waters broke and he was born at 35 weeks. He had also been head down and engaged for about 6 weeks. I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything, but obviously it can!
Having a prem is no walk in the park (although my DS was and is fine ), I'd be doing what you can to avoid it. Ring your Ob and ask for an appointment. Good luck!
