I'm not sure if I have a UTI or if it's just normal and, I don't go to see my doctor until next Friday so I thought I would ask if anyone else has the same problem.
After I have gone to the toilet (for a pee) I feel like I need to go again, but nothing comes out. It's like my bladder isn't emptying properly. I've tried the leaning forward thing.
I went for my NT scan last Saturday and was told "wow, what a full bladder" - she let me empty it. The thing is that I had only had about 2 glasses of water after going to the toilet about half an hour before hand.
Sorry if this is TMI.
The other thing is that every now and then I get a slight pain - the pain of holding on too long - when I've not long been to the toilet.
It could be. You generally also get a burning sensation when your nearly finished doing no 1's and it takes your breath away, literally. You can get meds to take, they are sachets called Ural and you poor them into water. They taste OK!
Great! I finally get over ms now this.... ahh, the joys of being a woman! I think I'll make an appointment with my gp rather than wait for the ob appointment next week.
omg those are HORRIBLE...i've since become SUPERSENSITIVE to when i can feel one coming...as my first time i didn't know what it was and only went to the doctor 2 weeks later...omg....doctor said he was surprised i could even walk..ever since i've suffered recurring ones...makes me antsy when i even think about them...when my cat gets them i feel so bad for her i take her to emergency just to help her relieve her pain..(then theres the financial pain that follows hehehe)
..if there's a clinic open near you can i be a little pushy and say GO NOW....and drink LOTS of water...someone suggested those URAL sachets...they provide temporary relief... good luck
It does sound like an UTI! I would definetly get in to see the doctor, these things can spread fast and are quite painful and uncomfortable! Goodluck I hope your feeling better soon
sounds like it to me. you should try and drink cranberry juice and take cranberry supplements. be careful if you are given antibiotics as they can get rid of your good bacteria and then you can end up with thrush. not so good!
