Someone - help - Completely Confused

I am hoping that someone here will talk to me. I am completely confused and cannot find any answers to my questions.
Quick background: I am 39, 1st child born in 1990, followed by 7 m/c's all under 6 weeks, 2nd child born 1998, followed by 2 more m/c's under 6 weeks... m/c at 8 weeks in October 1996, Tubal Ligation in 2006, suffered PTLS until 02/2009 when had reversal done - 1 to get rid of PTLS and 2 to TTC - 1st try BFP on May 13th, July 2nd - D&C - no heartbeat, no fetal pole although all other tests showed normal pregnancy... bled on and off for 2 weeks followed by sporadic spotting... July 25th - major heavy bleeding - was told could possibly be 1st cycle - lasted 12 days... on August 3rd, US showed lots of debrise and heavy lining so was given medication or option for 2nd D&C - took meds - bleeding stopped on August 12th... on the 17th, went for a follow up US - all clear, follicle on left ovary showing I was going to ovulate... we were told to wait until at least one normal cycle before we TTC... my partner and I have had sex 3 times (13th, 15th & 19th) all three times using spermicide and condom... using OPK's - I got two positives on the 23rd & 24th - temps are out of control so don't even want to look at those or rely on that information... well, yesterday, I stood up from my desk (I work at a computer all day) and felt like I wet my pants - huge amount of blood - cleaned up then it was light... then by last night, it was only spotting when I went to the bathroom... today, nothing then a little spotting and now nothing again...
Now, what is this? If I hadn't yet ovulated on the 17th according to the US Tech/Doctor - then what's happening... we haven't had unprotected sex - when I got the positive OPK's we abstained as we plan on following doc's orders to wait at least a cycle possibly more... so what is happening?? I can't find any information on any slight possiblities... does anyone know? does anyone have any ideas? This has me completely confused... I did call my doctor who is great by the way - he is out of his office until 09.08.2009 but one of the other doctors stated that she felt that this could possibly be implantation bleeding although she doesn't really think so since it was "bright red" as there could be a possiblity of our birth control failing on the 19th... she stated that I could take a HPT on Monday the 31st if I don't continue to show having a normal cycle then call in and another doctor would do blood work or I could wait until the 8th to call my regular doctor... OMG! Again, I am totally confused.
Please talk to me if you can or have any ideas.

Hun, I have no idea! I wish I could help but just wanted to wish you all the best and say if you are pregnant I hope this one sticks and if not I really hope the bleeding gets sorted soon. xox

Gosh it sound slike you have had a rough time. I have no idea or advice as I have never heard anything like what you have been through. Just wanted to send you lots of

Hi LAinGA it sounds like you could still have some tissue inside as an ultra sound can not always show up such a small thing. Have the D&C.

You can see the second chart on my fertiltiy friend link I had a similar problem. Hope that helps and goodluck

I totally agree with Cherished.
If BT shows to be a negative, I would opt for the D+C try and srart fresh.
