Better toilet cleaning solutions?

Howdy,

I scrubbed my toilet the other day but found my usual cleaner (pino clean) left me really heady and I felt nausiated for a few hours after. Now toilet cleaning is not overly strenuous so I am wondering if inhaling that smell has had anything to do with it.

Is there a better cleaner that I can use that will still disinfect my loo? Or should I just make DH clean two toilets

I'm an asthmatic & use Toilet Duck or Harpic. Never have any problems with either of them.
Some people use non chemicals like vinegar & bicarb but I don't know the recipes.
