Sounds awful but Charlie randomly SHRIEKS in her sleep! She also does the cute eyebrow thing along with the standard smiles.
Just sitting here rocking DD back to sleep and she is twitching and wriggling, smiling and making funny noises including an almost-laugh...it's so cute and funny..keep giggling at her! She had a bit of a cry in her sleep earlier today too!
To me it's like she is having a dream, only do they dream at this age and what would it be about? It's not like she would know anything to have a dream about would she?

Apparently they dream before they're even born!
We heard our first real laugh from DS in his sleep....gorgeous little chuckle...so whatever he was dreaming about must have been funny!
He also does the odd random cry in his sleep...sometimes really loud too. Then straight back to sleep town!
Dp reckons dd use to dream about boobs cause she'd have this big smile on her face lol. Be interesting to really know what they do dream about. I know Ava use to have pleasent dreams and would always be smiling. But now, at 16 months old, her imagination has kicked in so I don't think her dreams are very nice cause she wakes up screaming.
DS is the same, lots of smiles, frowns and every other possible expression and noise while he is sleeping. Sometimes I just stand at his door and watch and wonder what on earth he could be dreaming about... I guess it is just one of those mysteries that we will never find an answer to though... But I would love to know![]()
i think DS dreams about feeding sometimes - his little mouth will be moving but he's still asleep...but usually not too long before he wakes up hungry![]()
yep Jacob def dreams about feeding or starts 'hunting' around for food before he wakes up...
he is also starting to do this ADORABLE thing that DS1 also did which is when i start to lie him down into the feeding position his little mouth is already open and ready to latch on (sorry off topic)
Boobies!!!!
hehe it's cute isn't it. Tristan had nice dreams, he had a little chuckle last night, SOOO cute!
Brendan used to cryI reckon it was becuase of what he went through in NICU, they say babies dont remember but how would we know?
between partner snoring last night and bubs sleep giggling i had a few laughs
I wondered EXACTLY the same thing. I was looking at Matthew on the first day he was born and he was dreaming. About what?? He'd just been pushed out of a black hole - how is that worth dreaming about. More horrifying, I would have thought.
.. hee, hee so funny Evie as my DD did the same thing... if anything i thought it would be a nightmare !!
Maybe they're dreaming about the nice noises they heard while they were inside your belly. All the gurgling, farting, whining (that's what I did a lot of the time).
Either way, they're cute as all get out!
At DD's 6-8 week health check this afternoon she was asleep when we went in and started smiling and making noises in her sleep - the nurse said to me oh she probably just has wind... Thought to myself would you be half laughing in your sleep if you had wind?? I'll stick to my "she is dreaming" line of thought!
