I'm so excited. I live in a very small town and a "green" store just opened up. They sell all kinds of eco friendly products. My fave though is their G Diapers. They are a cross between a cloth diaper and a disposable, except the disposable part is not only biodegradable but compostable! The outer part of the diaper is this really nice soft cotton, and then a small plastic liner snaps inside. Then you line the plastic part with the compostable liner. The cotton part almost never gets dirty, you just have to wash the plastic liner after a poop, and you toss/compost/flush the paper liner. They fasten with Velcro but they fasten in the back to prevent little hands form opening them. They are super cute and are not bulky at all (same as a disposable diaper). I don't know if any one else has tried them but we LOVE them. I have only 4 covers and 6 snap in liners and that is enough to last me a whole week (longer if I can get DS to poop in the potty - we're toilet training and we have good days and bad days right now)!
I wish I'd found these sooner, they rock!
