My cake collapsed!

Why does this happen sometimes? My cake was looking all nice, had risen nicely. I come back and it's cooled and has sunk so it's just flat on top!!
BUT it was sooooooooo good, I think one if the best I've ever made, still nice and fluffy and moist, mmm....

Sorry to hear Heaven ... i'm no help here as i sux at baking cakes BUT baking slices well i don't seem to get them wrong, LOL

... At least your cake still tasted nice ... would be worse if it looked brilliant and was unedible !!

(I usually make my disaster cakes into a pudding & loaded it up with icecream)
