    Exclamation 5mth old Vomiting/Gastro-Help

My beautiful little 5 month old man has just started vomiting. He has vomited up his last two feeds, and is now just dozing and listless. I have never had a bub so little with gastro before, so I am not sure what to do? I guess just let him rest, but should I try and offer the breast at all? He took it eagerly just before, but was vomiting again within about a minute of latching on. He now just keeps dry reaching, and has nothing left to vomit up.
I am supposed to work for 4 hours tonight, and I am not sure what to do now. On one hand he is likely to sleep most of the time, but I think I might need to be here, because I don't know how he would go with the ebm?

    Any suggestions?

(I am not sure if it is gastro, he had a virus late last week with high temps, and very bad conjunctivitus which has cleared with ab ointment).

It might be better to call in sick hun. Babies can go downhill fast with gastro and your boobies WILL be required tonight!

I think you are right. I wouldn't be able to concentrate anyways. I hate seeing them so sick.

I guess i will just keep offering the breast when he wakes up and see how he goes.
I have made a little bed for him on the lounge room floor, and he is as snug as a bug in a rug, so I can keep watch on him.
