Hi all,
Can someone please recommend me a decent sippy cup. I just remember the drama when buying for DD1. I found some non spill ones were so hard to drink from and others I tried the water came out too fast.
I'm looking for one with a smaller hole so the flow isn't overally fast and one that isn't so hard to suck out of.
TIA.
we had a Nuby cup that has the teat, the transition white rubber thing (lol) and hte straw.
Charlotte loved it, it is fairly non spill but doesnt have one of thos stupid valves in it. We never used the teat, she went straight on the second top it is fab.
Costs $20 or so but will last years
Thanks! Am going to the shops tomor so will check it out. Paying for one decent thing will be cheaper than all the money I forked out for all the crap I payed for 2 years ago!
When DD went onto water we gave it to her in a straw cup because she couldnt use any of the cups that have vales in them, The best cups we have found were the Tommee Tippee flip & seal straw cups, they dont leak too much & they dont have a valve in them.
DS has the Avent sippy cups. They have a soft spout for little ones from about 6 months and then you can buy harder spouts and sports spouts as they grow. They are non spill too which I find great. They aren't too difficult to drink from either. Another type we have is the Take and Toss cups. They will leak if left tipped up or on the side though.
I have the nuby one too and I think its great. You can get the other parts for it so they can have a straw when ready but the sippy thing they drink out of first doesnt spill and when the put it in their mouths and squeeze the drink comes out.
I havent had any experience with other ones but I like my one and it comes in really cool colours!
