    Mil names?

couldnt think of a better title sorry
I really like the name Trent if this bub is a boy and it was a name i was going to give my first DS...instead i named him nathan witch is now my DH's name too lol
The issue i have here is (yup you knew it was coming) i don't like my MIL and i know in her mind she would think she thought of the name she likes to take the credit for everything...whoops in my ranting i forgot to mention Trent is also DH's middle name!
I really like the name but and its already what i imagine our little bub being called if its a boy.
WOW i just read my post and its strange and confusing we will just blame hormones ok?
So anyhoo does anyone else like the name trent oh and the middle name will be david after my dad

I like Trent as a name. Really think your MIL would be like that?

At the end of the day you and DH have to be happy with it.

I know where you're coming from. Any name that my MIL suggested was immediately struck off my list. No way was I prepared to listen to MIL telling all and sundry that she named my children. My MIL has a problem with exageration (she once told me a book cost $85 while I was looking at the price tag that said $15 ) so the story would have grown from her making the suggestion to us being stuck and coming begging her for help - no way!!

I would use it.. And let her think what she likes (Can you tell I dislike my MIL).. If you and dh like it that is all that matters..

What you like is all that matters, and if your MIL ever took the credit for it there would be no harm in saying that actually you always liked that name, it wasn't her doing!
But just while I'm having my 2 cents worth you would then have a Trent and a Nathan which together is a mens clothing label... if that doesn't bother you then go for it.
