Help! Looking for a good cleaner!

hi ladies,

Was wondering if anyone could suggest a good cleaner? - In that, i mean, someone who comes to the house to clean on say a fortnightly basis? - I'm in Melbourne's outer south east.

any suggestions would be great!!!

I've typed 'domestic cleaning' into Yellow Pages, and HEAPS have come up - just scrolling through the ones that have website now...

How outer South East are you?
I have a great cleaner (mother and daughter team) who I have recommended to 5 of my mates/family members all of whom now use them and rave equally as loudly as I.
The cleaners are around the Ferntree Gully area and I am in the Waverley area. They go in as far as Ashburton/Glen Iris and out as far as at least Lysterfield rowville as far as I know.
They charge me $80 per fortnight for my 3 large bedroom 2 living area home with 2 bathrooms which gets me about 2 hours. We tidy everything and leave everything up of the floors, so that they come in and do dusting kitchen clean, bathrooms (toilets showers) and floors together with something else usually, last week for example it was the range hood in the kitchen. They will also change linen, do ironing that kind of thing if you want that included in your time.
They come on a day we are at work and I am totally happy to leave them to it in my absence.
Have been home a couple of times and OMG they both work up a sweat (which I don't, probably why I don't do as good a job!)
Have been VERY happy.

I knew one but she only worked north east melb unless it was a huuuuge commercial clean/contract clean. She never advertised because she got all her clients by word of mouth. Best to maybe ask around your area? Good cleaners don't generally advertise.

I used absolute domestics to find my cleaner and after a few months cancelled through agency and just pay her direct as that way cheaper (her idea)./

I pay $60 a fortnight she vacumes and mops floors and dusts, cleans bathrooms x2, strips and re makes our bed. Cleans kitchen and stove.
