I woke up this morning with bruises on my hip/pubic area that are dark purple and i cant figure out why? Me and DF havent DTD so thats not it but its really scaring me. Is this normal to happen in pregnancy or is it totally unrelated, thinking i should see the GP...
ETA: I have quite bad anemia but have never expierenced bruising before

If you can't think of an explanation for the bruising, I'd be off to the Dr. I've heard that some blood disorders can cause bruising, but don't know anything about it or anything about anemia.
Hope it's just a pregnancy thing and that they go away soon, that must be uncomfortable to lie on!
Yeah I'd be off to the doctors too especially if you suffer from anaemia, how are your blood/iron levels with the pregnancy? I had bruising on my shins with my son and it turned out it was lack of iron causing me to bruise and my doctor told me some women do bruise easier when they are pregnant. Hope it isn't too sore!
