Lol we have a GREEN dog!

Oh the joys of having a golden retriever! DF decided to mow the lawn this afternoon (at 5.30...who knows why he decided it had to be done right then and not wait until tomorrow ).

Our dog, a white/gold golden retriever loves to follow the mower around the yard, and yep you guessed it, roll in the very freshly cut grass...so now he is green all over

Looks hilarious though, after he does a roll he races madly around the yard and thinks it is great fun! Keeps him entertained for a while I suppose, even if we end up with a dog more matched to be Shrek's family pet

That's so funny, at least he is having fun. You should take him for a walk and show off your green dog .

LOL! I pictured someone putting the temp hair colour on your dog.

My staffy x border collie has a white triangle near her neck and when my little sister was experimenting with haircolour the dog would end up with an interesting coloured triangle. used to run around with odd coloured polished claws too.

That is sooo funny. We have a retreiver cross who automatically rolls in the dirt immediately after we have washed her so now we tie her up until she is dry!

Ninah - I took photos of him the last time he went really green and it didn't show up that well..I don't know if it was just bad light or not. Didn't get a chance to take pics this time as it was too dark outside and you wouldnt have been able to see it at all. He was so much greener than last time though! I was almost embarrassed having to take him for a walk this morning as it didn't fade much over night! Lol

Amanda - he smelt awful last night...that sickly freshly cut but slightly damp grass smell...on top of his already smelly dog smell! He really really needs a bath!!

It's all good fun...he's great for a laugh!

WE HAVE A BLUE DOG!!!

I laughed when I read your thread title as we took our dog to the groomer yesterday and he came home with this blue rodeo scarf around his neck, I took it off today and he is all blue where the scarf was as he must have been a bit wet there causign the fabric dye to run! Looks so funny!!!
