What do i do? will it blow up????? HELP!!!

O.k ive been a bit meh about this not really noticing but now im full on aware My tv is 5-6 years old and its a Large bulky huge thing takes two ppl to hold it. It has been making a high pitch noise when in use Not VERY loud but loud enough ya know its there. I thought it was the speakers as there a bit going wrong but no its not them somethings wrong hey? Is this dangerous what do i DO???? Do i throw it out and replace it what now?

Techie DH behind me informs me that the squeal just means you can hear the horizontal output transformer oscillating. It's not a problem at all, is not a sign of impending doom and doesn't mean you need to replace your television. Some TVs just do that, apparently.

Mine used to do that when it was in stand-by but if I turned it off properly it shut up.
