    I need ideas!

So, DD is having 2 meals a day and has been on solids for almost 4 weeks now. I need ideas for what to give her!

For breakfast she has fruit (pear, watermelon, banana usually). Yesterday she also had some cucumber and a bit of toast with banana on it. She's tried some other fruits but these are her favorites and what we mostly have. Can she have citrus fruits? For some reason I thought she couldn't??

For dinner she has steamed veggies, usually three different types from these: beans, potato, sweet potato, carrot, pumpkin, cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, peas.

What else can I give her? I feel like she'll be getting bored of this pretty soon. What can I put on toast? Also, when she goes to 3 meals a day what do I give her for lunch? And how do I know when she's ready for 3 meals??

    TIA!

Annabelle would have one of her meals fruit and one vegies. On toast the only thing I would put was a tiny bit of vegimite. They seem to nt get bord till about 12months+. Just think something with no flavour to our old taste buds, are MASSIVE flavours to them
I think your doing great and just what she needs atm

Just try all fruits and veg, she may surprise you Annabelle LOVES broad beans and swead YUK! I hate them haha

You could put Vegemite, Avocado or Cream Cheese on toast. My kids also loved Mangoes and Pawpaw.

Miss J loves avocado on toast and banana also spreads well. As for vegies try some parsnip and asparagus spears.

I think citrus fruits are too acidic at this age so hold off on them for a while.

Miss J has 3 meals and she has fruit and cereal for breakfast, vegies & fruit for lunch and vegies and fruit for dinner. I usually give her the same for lunch and dinner plus some toast fingers. If you want to mix it up a bit try fruit for breakfast, toast and vegies for lunch and vegies and fruit for dinner.

I'm thinking she's ready for 3 meals too, she eats a lot at both meals. But it seems like we only just started solids!!

Yep go the avocado - Miss B loves it - also i put that new cheesy vegimite on her toast/bread and she loves it!
U could also go cheese sticks - oh and cut up some tomato - that works a treat here also!
I think u will know when she is ready for 3 meals - i think we kinda just tried it one day and have been doing it ever since
Ummmm let me think what else u could use......
