    Expressing my dog

Yesterday I noticed a swollen area down near Millies back legs and was worried in case there was still another pup stuck. Was still there today and noticed 2 teats on it and realised it was probably full of milk. Ring the vet, who would be getting sick of me by now , and he suggested to try and place the puppies on those teats as only having 2 pups they are obviously drinking from her other teats. Well every time I went out there the pups were sleeping and had no interest in feeding, so I decide to gently squeeze them and milk starts to come out . Never expressed for my kids but here I am expressing my dog . Hopefully I'll be able to place the pups on at some stage so they can completely drain her and she won't get mastitis.

    Regards,
    Dianne

LOL. You can also try a warm compress to help. Of all things I had to do this to a wombat recently. LOL
