Red face 15 months on, AF returned, painful EPI/tear scars

Soo my second AF returned earlier this week, sorry a bit of TMI to come the first one was a lot of brown spotting first, before a bit of AF, more spotting then nothing.

Monday I had a little bit of brown then WHAM, full force AF, no warning that it was going to hit so strongly, but what has really got me is my Episitomy and tear scars have been really hurting, like a real strong ache, much worse when I am standing and walking around.

It took quite a while for DTD to not be sooo uncomfortable/painful, but we have got that sorted now .

What are your thoughts... have you had this before... could it be hormonal changes or something else.... I ended up taking Panadol and Panadeine to reduce the pain...

    TIA

Hi, i didnt have an Epi but i did have a 3rd degree almost 4th degree tearing and i remember even my first being extremly painful in that area and the Dr just told me it was because of the hormonal changes and that in time it will be fine and she was right by my 3rd or 4th i didnt feel anything it was perfectly normal again.

    hope yours is the same

Thanks S for replying, I was thinking along those lines, but haven't been to a Dr for myself for a while now and didn't see the point just to ask that question

My second was fine, and my third AF hit yesterday, only a 26 day cycle , and the pains were terrible again today, hopefully it is gone next time she comes back to visit!

Standing for any period of time is really quite painful
