    Sea sickness tablets for children?

I'm going whale watching in the school holidays with my Mum for her birthday, and taking the kids with me (8 and 6).

Is there anything I can give them to prevent sea-sickness? It is prevalent in DH's family and I'd rather not risk it as this will be their first time on the open sea.

    Any advice appreciated

DP and i got tablets from the chemist on the pack it said it was ok for kids, maybe ask them..

A trick ive learned is Lollypops make my tummy a bit more at ease but being kids i dont know if you want to pump them full of sugar haha. Ginger helps too?

the problem with a lot of sea sickness tablets is they can cause drowsyness. Try fruit tingles as they have anti nausea properties. I use them with success when I go out on the boat. And maybe try ginger beer or ginger cordial. HTH

Have you considered the sea sickness wrist bands? I have a friend who uses them for her kids all the time on car trips, and I found they worked wonders for morning sickness. They work by applying pressure to an accupressure point in your wrist.
