can being sick harm bubs?

Can being sick harm the baby? as in gagging and the straining

I get really bad reflux and it is making me sick (sorry for information) but i will actually be sick maybe once a day on some days not all days

can this harm the little one in any way?

I don't think so hun, after all, many women suffer from bad morning sickness which doesn't affect the baby. But you could ask your doctor or midwife just to make sure. Babies are quite well cushioned in there. I got a bout of food poisoning during 2nd trimester and was violently ill for 12 hours, but bubs was just fine.

Don’t worry hun your baby will be fine. As bon said mamy women suffer from very bad morning sickness and even need to be in hospital but their baby is OK.

Shell - I'm pretty sure everything will be ok.

I basically vomited for 4 weeks straight at the start of my pregnancy and all is fine. I ended up in hospital a few times for dehydration it got that bad.
