what to do what to do

I can't believe Im writing this but Susie is 5 and a half months old!! shes grown up so fast!! It won't be longh and the prefolds I made her (which I love) wont do up anymore originally I planned to make some fitteds and some pockets or something like that, but I overestimated what I could do..having a refluxy windy bub who doesnt seem to need more than 11-12 hours sleep in a 24 hour period, shes quite time consuming so I usually only get around 2-3 hours max a day without her whilst she sleeps / plays on the floor so I'm only just coping with housework..no time for sewing really!

so all that said, I'm also hoping not to go back to work so we need to find a good solution for nappies thats gonna suit her and be nice but not too expensive!

what sort of meausrements should I take to help with my research? shes not a hugely heavy wetter .. have only had one pooh explosion and no wicking through her PUL covers. she doesnt generally cry when shes quite wet either lol!

phew written a lot but would really love some suggestions of where to look! I get emails from Darlings Downunder and they have a special day in melb on the 3rd October where you can go and talk to them and check out nappies, but then theres the expo on a few weeks later so I'm wondering if I should just wait till then..should I decide before I go what exactly I'm looking for..lots of questions hey?

if you've got to the bottom of this thanks for reading! really appreciate any feed back and suggestions! you girls rule!

If you already have pre-folds I think you can use them in pocket nappies like greenkids - I would check out second hand sites like buyforbaby or nappychic to see what bargains you can get - sorry I know thats not much help! I'm new to cloth myself!

sterla has a few fitted to give away, maybe try those to start with and see how you go!

doh too slow ajp but thanks!

I kinda want to keep the prefolds for prefold use only...for future babies cause have found them awesome with a little one!
